New York, September 2026. Ten years of Khaite, ten years of desire. For Spring/Summer 2027, Catherine Holstein celebrates the house’s tenth anniversary by returning to the essence of its language: the body, sensuality, leather, and craftsmanship.
Yet this new collection signals an evolution. The Khaite woman remains confident and powerful, but for a moment, she lets go of her armor. Silhouettes move closer to the body, proportions become leaner, and sensuality takes on a more intimate quality. Lingerie, corsetry, and sheer elements enter the everyday wardrobe, while fluid dresses and romantic details introduce a new sense of softness.
Kaia Gerber opens the show in a look that captures this new direction: a white bra paired with a high-waisted leather skirt, seemingly simple yet revealing intricate, handcrafted corsetry underneath. It is the hidden work that becomes one of the collection’s defining elements—embroidery, internal structures, and meticulous handwork bringing attention back to the art of making clothes.
The collection also draws inspiration from Venice and the atmosphere of the Gritti Palace, translating a sophisticated sense of romance through floral embroidery, lightweight dresses, crinolines, and lingerie-inspired silhouettes. Yet the past is filtered through New York energy: leather, defined shoulders, and sharp tailoring preserve the urban attitude that has become synonymous with Khaite.
The result is a collection built on contrasts: hard and delicate, masculine and feminine, structure and movement. A vision of femininity that no longer needs to choose between strength and vulnerability, because it embraces both.
Ten years after its foundation, Khaite is not looking back. It slows down, goes deeper, returns to the material. Once again, desire becomes a language of fashion—more romantic, more personal, more assured.
Ten years on, Khaite still knows exactly how to make us desire.
